Following a long and courageous battle with cancer, while surrounded by love and caring support, Monesh V. Hiranandani passed away peacefully in Stamford, CT on Friday, April 4, 2014.

Born November 24, 1967 in Flushing NY to Vishno R. Hiranandani and Mohini V. Hiranandani. He was raised in New Rochelle, NY and Stamford, CT and setteld in the latter after spending most of his adult years living in Syracuse, NY, San Francisco, CA and traveling the world.

He graduated from Stillmeadow Elementary, King Middle and Westhill High School. After obtaining a Bachelor of Science from Syracuse University, he went on to an innovative and successful career in marketing, consulting, software and technology. Monesh had a passion for family, friends, food, music, sports and finding humor in life.

Survivors include his daughters Nora and Gwen, his mother Mohini, sister Vineeta, brother Kaveesh, brother's wife Colleen, many close and loving aunts, uncles, cousins and friends. He is predeceased by his father, Vishno.

The funeral services, life celebrations and all related events were already held in private.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations can be made to the Carl and Dorothy Bennett Cancer Center at Stamford Hospital, 30 Shelbourne Road, Stamford, CT 06904 and to the Biologic and Cutaneous Oncology Program at Beht Israel Deaconess Medical Center, Mailstop MASCO 428, 375 Longwood Ave, Boston, MA 02215.

Given the divorce situation, Monesh made the funeral arrangements and wrote the obituary, and he did not want any other communications or event related to his passing or life.
