KAHN, Morton B. Kahn, Age 93, of Palm Beach, FL passed gracefully on May 11th 2011. Son of Julius and Tillie Kohn, predeceased by his dear wife and best friend of 62 years Phyllis Kahn and their loving daughter Carol Kahn. He is survived by his devoted daughter Linda Feld and caring son Robert Kahn, along with his daughter-in-law Suzanne Kahn. Morton is also survived by his four grandchildren Michael Feld, Dyanna Feld, Jeffrey Kahn and Laura Kahn. He was born in Stamford, CT and graduated from Stamford High School. He attended The University of Pennsylvania’s Wharton School of Business and was a member of AEPHI fraternity. Upon graduating, he set out on his path to become a successful Real Estate developer in the tri-state area. He was President of United Oil Company, a founding member of the Independent Connecticut Petroleum Association, an active participant within the Lion’s Club Organization, a past president of the State Street Debating Society and the All Stamford Club. Morton was a generous contributor and proud member of Temple Beth El in Stamford, CT and Temple Emanuel in Palm Beach, FL. Morton’s infectious love of life, outstanding sense of humor and supreme generosity will live on forever with his family and friends.
A grave site service will be performed on May 13th at 11:30 am at the Temple Beth El cemetery on Roxbury Rd. in Stamford, CT. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to Hadassah or American Friends of Mage David Adom. Arrangements are being handled by Leo P. Gallagher & Son Funeral Home, Stamford
