Myrna G Glassberg

Myrna G. Glassberg, a former Stamford resident, died April 6, 2013 at her home in Boca Raton FL. She was 82. Myrna grew up in New York City with her parents Henry and Belle Rose and lived for many years in Merrick, Long Island. She was known for her love of family and music as well as her wonderful cooking skills. She was predeceased by her beloved husband Bernard Glassberg and is survived by her four children and their spouses Paul (Beth) Glassberg, Michele (Eliot) Popper, Todd (Mary) Sessel-Glassberg and Robin (Adam) Malfosky, 2 brothers and their wives Sheldon (Lola) Rose, Steven (Ricki) Rose and their children, 7 grandchildren Brooke Somberg, Drew Popper, Brett Glassberg, Bryce Sessel-Glassberg, Brandon Malofsky, Brittany Glassberg and Nicole Malofsky, as well as two great-grandchildren Chloe and Camden Somberg. Funeral arrangements are in care of the Leo P. Gallagher Funeral Home in Stamford CT and services will be held there on Friday April 12th at 10am. In lieu of flowers the family has requested that donations be made to Memorial Sloan-Kettering Cancer Center or the Alzheimer’s Foundation of America. The family will receive friends for shiva on Saturday , April 13th from 7:00 pm till 9:00 pm and Sunday , April 14th from 4 pm to 8:30 pm at the home of Paul Glassberg 13 Chester Woods Dr. Chester, NJ 07930
