
Nancy A. Snyder of Riverside, CT since 1960 and of Edgehill in Stamford since 1999 passed away on August 26th at the age of 90. She was born in Tenafly, NJ, daughter of the late Adolph and Alice Howland Amend of Englewood, NJ and Cape Cod, MA. She was a graduate of Colby Jr. College and the Vesper George School of Art. Married to Perez B. Howard (Bill) and William W. Snyder both of whom predecease her. Member of First Congregational Church of Old Greenwich, she was a deaconess and on the boards of the Women’s Fellowship, Chancel and Memorial Gifts committees and volunteered at the Rummage Room in Old Greenwich for 45 years. A member of the Riverside Garden Club since 1961, she served as Horticulture Chairman and on several other committees. She is survived by 3 daughters- Susan H. Blake of Evergreen, CO, Barbara H. Keller of Murrells Inlet, SC and Deborah G. Howard of Brooklyn, NY, 6 grandchildren and 4 great grandchildren.
