

Born in Bridgeport, Connecticut, she was the daughter of Samuel Derman and Nina Albrecht Derman. She attended Fairfield Public Schools and graduated from Trumbull High School. She was employed in the promotional products industry for many years with Prime Line, where she held various roles, including Customer Service Manager, Director of Marketing, and National Sales Manager. She then served ten years as the National Vice President of Sales. After retiring, she served as a consultant in the Promotional Products Industry.
While working at Prime, she received many National accolades, including the 2008 ASI Counselor’s Woman of Distinction, and in 2020 was named PPAI’s Woman of Achievement. She served on the Board of Directors of SAAGNY from 2006 to 2013 and was Board President from 2011 to 2012. She was President of Premier Group, and she was a board trustee for the Promotional Products Education Foundation.
She proudly served on the Board of Directors for the Israel Cancer Research Fund and was an active member of the Temple Beth El Sisterhood. She was also a dedicated volunteer at Stamford Hospital.
Paula enjoyed tennis and lived an active lifestyle. She was an avid fan of the New York Knicks. She will be remembered for her honesty, loyalty, and devotion to her family and friends.
Paula is survived by the love of her life, E. Arthur Morin, and her daughter Jamie Mark (Larry), granddaughters Hailey and Addison Mark, all of Manalapan, New Jersey. In addition, she is survived by her brother, Richard Derman of Berlin, Germany, and her loving dog Bella.
She is predeceased by her parents, Samuel and Nina Derman
Funeral services will be held at Temple Beth El, 350 Roxbury Road, Stamford, CT, on Tuesday, July 15th, 2025, at 11:00 AM. Burial will be private. Shiva will be held on Tuesday, July 15th, from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM and on Wednesday, July 16th, from 3:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the home of the deceased.
