Born and raised in Elmsford, NY to Rose and Paul Tricarico, Paula graduated from Our Lady of Mt Carmel Elementary School and Alexander Hamilton High School. Paula worked in a number of Fortune 500 companies with most of her career at Sprint in business customer service and support as an Implementation Project Manager. Paula received numerous Excellence awards and recognition from management, customers and peers for her outstanding performance and dedication. She was the recipient of the prestigious Crown Club Award which was presented to the top 1% of performers in the company.
After leaving the telecommunication industry, Paula’s intellectual and spiritual curiosity led her to a new path of spiritual and physical healing. Paula was a certified BTB Feng Shui practitioner, a degreed provider in the Usui system of Reiki and was certified in the Healing Touch Program. Her knowledge in these disciplines allowed her to help heal and assist those who sought out her expertise.
Paula battled Breast Cancer for the last four years with courage, positivity and grace, all while continuing her zest for life and showing those around her the true meaning of strength. Paula will be remembered as a beautiful inspirational soul who had an endless supply of kindness and support and provided much valued advice and counsel to all. Paula appreciated the beauty in nature and life. She especially loved living near the water and seeing the amazing sunrises and sunsets near the Long Island Sound. We’ll always remember her dancing, singing, dressing up in costumes, and having great times with her family and friends.
Paula is survived by her four siblings, Teresa Perkins, Maria Smacchia (Nicholas), Nicholas Tricarico (Dina) and Jennifer Nestor (Tod), as well as nine nieces and nephews and eleven great-nieces and great-nephews.
