Richard Y. LeVine, Ph.D. Born in Mount Vernon, NY in 1921, Richard (Dick) was a resident of Stamford for 41 years. He died Sunday, January 29th at Stamford Hospital. As a chemical engineer, he was involved in the formation of national standards for materials safety in industrial settings. He applied this both to his long time work at Olin Corporation and as President of his own consulting firm. He is survived by his wife of 61 years, Helen, sons Daniel (and his wife Corinne) of Buffalo Grove, IL and Paul (and his wife Tracey) of Philadelphia, PA, as well as two grandchildren, Amanda and Mira.
