Roberta J. Potter of Stamford passed away on May 4, 2013 at Regency Heights of Stamford. She was born in Brooklyn on November 27, 1945 to the late Robert and Virginia Potter. She was a graduate of St. Joseph Catholic High School in Brooklyn. She worked at American Can as an Administrative Assistant for many years where she remained friends with many people until her passing. She also worked at Ivey Barnum and Towers Perrin. Roberta enjoyed crocheting and was known for her baby blankets, she was an avid reader and a devoted jeopardy fan. She is survived by her first cousin Virginia Difonzo and her husband Angelo, her second cousins Christine, William, Linda and their children. She is also survived by her devoted best friend Mildred Tassinari and her family, who loved and cared for her. The family wishes to thank the Ormond family for the kindness and care.
Family and friends may call the Leo P. Gallagher & Son Funeral Home 2900 Summer Street, Stamford on Thursday May 9 from 2-4pm, 6-8pm. A funeral service will be held at the funeral home on Friday May 10, at 10 am. Burial will be followed at Spring Grove Cemetery in Darien.
