Russell V. Davis, of Stamford and Westbrook, CT passed away peacefully surrounded by his family on May 20, 2018 at the age of 75. Russell was born in Hartford, CT, to the late Russell E. Davis and Vera M. Loeser. He was the husband of Kathleen A. Davis of Stamford
Russell served in the United States Navy during the Vietnam War aboard the USS Enterprise. He was a graduate of Stamford High School (1960) and the University of Bridgeport (1971). He had a long career in corporate finance and after retirement, founded Repairs by Russ, a business he ran for the last ten years.
Mr. Davis was a long time member of the Springdale Volunteer Fire Department, Camerata d'Amici Choral Group and St. Francis Episcopal Church in Stamford, CT. He spent every summer at Old Kelsey Point.
Besides his wife, Russell is survived by his son, John P. Davis (Jennifer) of Alpharetta, GA, daughter Elizabeth A. Barzelatto (Craig) of Danbury, CT. Grandchildren Caitlin A. Davis, Anthony D. Barzelatto and Sophia M. Barzelatto. He also leaves behind his sister Carolyn J. Fish and her husband William of Westbrook, CT, his nephew David W. Fish of Norwell, MA, niece Amy M. Fish of Mashpee, MA and a sister-in-law, Patricia A. Bradshaw of Phoenix, AZ.
