Born in Stamford, CT on December 17, 1959, he was the beloved son of the late Rachel and Francis Ferguson.
Though challenged by uncontrolled epilepsy throughout his life, Shawn was blessed with an almost imaginable power of acceptance. He endured every trial with neither a question nor complaint. There was never anyone lucky enough to have met him that didn’t come away touched by his open affection and gentle demeanor. Shawn lived in the warm embrace of his family and friends and is survived by his brother Michael Ferguson, and his partner Humberto Argenio, his sister Susan Broccoli and her husband Mark, his niece Julie Seguinot, her husband Jose and daughter Madalyn, his nephew Mark Broccoli, and his daughters Giada and Ella Rachel, and his nephew Peter Broccoli and his wife Amanda and son, Caeden, along with many loving cousins in Maine.
The family is planning a private family memorial service this summer at Old Orchard Beach, Maine. In lieu of flowers the family requests that you make a donation to Kids in Crisis, Cos Cob, CT 06870.
