Stephen Louis Kossluk, 84 of Stamford, CT husband of the late Mary Ellen Kossluk died Friday, October 15, 2010 after a long illness. He was born November 13, 1925 to the late Louis and Palena Przychoska Kossluk.
He is survived by his three children and their families; Stephen G. Kossluk of Milford, Paul Kossluk of Oregon and Nancy Murphy of Norwalk and seven grandchildren. He also leaves his sister, Mary Arslanian of Arizona. He was predeceased by his sister, Sophie Portanova.
He served in the military from 1944-1946 in Company A, 276th Infantry 70th division. After his retirement from the United States Postal Service he filled his time with gardening, watching sports and trips to the casino.
The family will receive friends Tuesday, 4 to 8 p.m. in the Leo P. Gallagher & Son Funeral Home, 2900 Summer Street, Stamford. Mass of Christian Burial Wednesday, 10 a.m. at St. Gabriel Roman Catholic Church, Stamford. Interment Queen of Peace Cemetery, Stamford
