From the time he was young, Steven had a way of bringing people together. Outgoing, friendly, and always surrounded by friends, he genuinely enjoyed people and formed friendships wherever life took him. He was the kind of person who could walk into a room and know someone or leave having made a new friend. The friendships Steven formed over the years were an important part of his life and the source of many wonderful memories.
Hockey was one of Steven's lifelong passions. He grew up playing the game he loved and remained an avid hockey fan throughout his life. More recently, he discovered a love of golf, finding a new sport to enjoy in his free time.
Above all, Steven was a beloved son, brother, uncle, and friend. He leaves behind his loving mother, Lee, and father, Steve; his sister Kelly, her husband Rob, and their children, Cameron, Rory, and Isla; and his sister Lauren. He was deeply loved by his family, and the memories they shared with him throughout his 39 years will always be a part of them.
Although his life ended far too soon, Steven lived a life filled with laughter, family, and friendships that spanned many years. Those who knew him will remember his outgoing spirit, his sense of humor, and the ease with which he connected with others.
Steven will be deeply missed by his family, his friends, and all those fortunate enough to have known him. His memory will live on in the stories and moments shared with him throughout his life.
Funeral service will be held on Monday, August 31 at 11 am at The First Congregational Church of Greenwich.
