When I close my eyes I can see Aunt Sylvia's sweet smile and bright eyes...always curious about what was happening in everyone's lives. Her legacy is the love she gave so freely, and the lessons she shared as she led by example. She was a true matriarch and she will live on in all of us.

Sylvia, my dear cousin, how I would have loved to be able to say a final "goodbye" to you, Sylvia, one of the dwindling number of Lefkowitzes and Chassens left. Distance and age have kept us apart too long.
