Vilma Yolanda Lopez “Yoli”, 77, passed away peacefully on August 15, 2017. Yoli was born on September 30, 1939 in Guatemala City, Guatemala and lived in Stamford, CT for 37 years. Yoli worked for Trafalgar in the 1980’s for several years. She is survived by her husband of 30 years, Candido Lopez, her eight children, 30 grandchildren, and 35 great-grandchildren. Calling hours will be held Monday, August 21 from 3 to 7 p.m. at Leo P. Gallagher & Son Funeral Home, 2900 Summer Street, Stamford CT. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held Tuesday, August 22, 2017 at 10:30 a.m. at St. Mary’s Church, 566 Elm Street, Stamford, CT. Interment will immediately follow at Spring Grove Cemetery, 41 Hecker Avenue, Darien CT.
