Wendy A Gavaghan

Wendy was the daughter of the late Florence (Millett) and Thomas J. Gavaghan. She is survived by her sister Kathleen Gavaghan of Newtown; niece Kelly DeLeo, and nephew Thomas J (T.J.) DeLeo, also of Newtown; many beloved friends; and her Yorkie Katie.

Wendy will be remembered for her great love for life and her wonderful wit and humor. As a CFO, and Comptroller Wendy travelled the United States for many large corporations such as Memry Corp and Starstruck. She was a passionate Conservative who loved her country and relished in a good debate and her large twitter following. Although she spent most of her life in the Northeast she enjoyed skiing in Colorado, golfing in the Carolina's and her time on a dude ranch in Arizona.

She will be remembered as a "Celtic Warrior" and her courage will not be forgotten.

There will be a graveside service Friday, January 31st at 10:30am for family and friends at St. John’s Cemetery in Darien.
