Willard King, a longtime resident of Stamford (former resident of Tandet Center) was called to his Heavenly Home on Saturday, September 29, 2012. Willard King was born April 5, 1933, Pell City, Alabama to the late Fred King and Beulah Green King. Mr. King worked many years as a machinist, in Norwalk, CT, from where he retired. Mr. King enjoyed spending his time fishing. He is survived by two brothers, Wilbert King (twin) of Villa Rica, GA and Robert King of Pell City, AL, a special niece Valerie Leach, Bridgeport, CT and nephew Hubert Leach, Norwalk, CT, a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. He was predeceased by two sisters; Annette King and Rennie Lee Kelly, and three brothers; Raymond King, F.W. King and Willie King. A memorial service will be held on Saturday, October 6, 2012, 12:00 noon at Greater Faith Tabernacle Baptist Church (Pastor Johnny C. Bush, Pastor), 27 Baxter Ave., Stamford, CT.
