William Kilcoyne Jr.

William W. Kilcoyne, Jr. passed away May 15, 2011 at the Riverside Health and Rehabilitation Center, East Hartford, CT after a long illness. William was born in Bethel, CT on June 10, 1936 to the late William and Alice (Rothkamm) Kilcoyne. He was predeceased April 17, 2009 by his former spouse Sheila (Redigan) Kilcoyne and was the father of Michael J. Kilcoyne of the Stamford Police Department.

Besides his granddaughter, Caitlin Rose Kilcoyne and numerous nieces and nephews, he is survived also by three sisters and a brother: Mary K. O’Mara of Alexandria, VA, Jean K. McSharry of Greenwich, Anne K. McGrath of Chappaqua, NY, and James R. Kilcoyne of Portsmouth, NH.

William attended St. John’s parochial school, Fairfield Prep, and Iona College and was a veteran of the U.S. Air Force.

He will be interred with his parents in St. John Cemetery, Springdale. Arrangements are by the Leo P. Gallagher & Son Funeral Home and will be private. Please visit www.leopgalllagherstamford.com
