She is survived by her soul mate of 43 years, Maxwell Wayne Lockridge, Sr.; son, Benjamin “Billy” Adair (Karen); daughters, Dreama Hinson (Raymond), Nyoka Jones (Bruce) and Priscilla Swann. Step children, Margaret Lockridge, Maxwell Lockridge, Jr., Billy Ray Lockridge and Joy Steven Lockridge. One brother, two sisters, 18 grandchildren, 18 great-grandchildren, and life-long friend, Judy Benfield.
In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by son, Harold Lee Adair, Jr.
A Graveside Service will be held at 11:00 AM Wednesday, August 27, 2014 at Hillcrest Gardens Cemetery with Pastor Mike Wilson officiating. The family is at Barbara’s home and receiving friends there through Tuesday, August 26, 2014.
