Carolyn Elizabeth Payne Sellars

Mrs. Sellars was a homemaker, prior to the birth of her son she was a secretary for Spencer Lumber Company in Gastonia and the North Rocky Mount Baptist Church in Rocky Mount, NC. She was a member of Alexis Baptist Church and was a former Sunday school teacher.

Mrs. Sellars is survived by her husband of 49 years Earl Sellars, three brothers; Tommy Payne and wife Judy of Clover, SC, Doyle Payne and wife Anne of Alexis and Rickey Payne of Stanley.

Mrs. Sellars was preceded in death by her parents and her son Timothy Ray Sellars.

Funeral services will be held at 2:00 PM Wednesday at Alexis Baptist Church with the Reverends Sandy Marks, Scott Jenkins and Dr. Malcolm Ivey officiating. The burial will follow in the church cemetery.

The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service at the church.
