Big brother,
I’ve taken my time to write something on your obituary, mainly due to it being so hard mentally and emotionally. I miss you so much every single day. I haven’t went this long without speaking to you probably in forever. Even when you were further in distance we kept letters and emails going between us so we always knew how each other were doing, and if either of us needed the other. I feel much more lonely without you, I know you wouldn’t want me to feel the way I do but I can’t help but be so sad. I didn’t sleep well again last night because I just kept waking up thinking about you. So I have been searching all the corners of the internet for every photo ever posted with you in it. I’ve read through so many emails dating back to 2011 until 8/11/20. I know you aren’t sad, sick, or hurting anymore, I wish we all had the relief you always felt you needed. I really don’t know how to be me without my brother. I’m thankful and will cherish all of the years I had growing up with you. You were always my cool big brother and I so much wanted to be as cool as you when I grew up. I can’t really explain how much I miss you, but I know if it’s possible at all, you are watching out for me like you always have. I love you so much.

Oh, Danny.... Danny worked for me years ago at Applebee’s. He brought an energy with him every day he came to work. He was caring and passionate about his guests. He had an innate ability to connect with anyone he came in contact with. He always stepped up to any task I needed taken care of. He was a huge asset to my staff and I’m fortunate to have called him friend. You will be missed, Danny.

I haven't seen Danny in more than a decade but he's someone I'll never forget. He was the first openly gay man I ever met. His humor and attitude were contagious, he didn't seem to care what anyone thought and that really helped me at a young age to be more confident in who I was without apologies. I know he had his struggles but I always admired his ability to make light of them. I only wish I could communicate that all to him now and I offer my condolences to those who are missing him and feeling his absence the most.

Danny,

I didn’t have the opportunity of getting to know you that long, but the few encounters we had and when you joined us at Bill’s were genuine and memorable. You always had a smile, and never said anything bad about anyone. Thank you for being such an honest and genuine person, that’s such a rare thing in the world today.
I will always remember you, and though our time knowing each other was brief, your memories will last a lifetime.

many memories, too many to pin point. Applebees, man I hated that place but God how I loved the friends that came from it. You always made me smile, when I gave you the opportunity to become a bartender, man you were so happy. You worked so hard to pass those stupid test. Lol but you did it. Since then Dalton and Trenton got to know and love you too. RIP my friend

I didn’t know Danny like you all did but when Applebee’s was open he was my waiter!!! ALWAYS!!! I wouldn’t even stay to eat if he wasn’t working! He always knew how to make me smile and laugh, even on my darkest days! He really was an amazing guy!!! He will definitely be missed so much! To all his family and close friends I am so very sorry for your loss!! ❤️
