I have known Don for a little over 51 years. He was a great person. He will be missed.

Don will be missed. Have know him all my life.

I was the child they never had.   It was hard seeing him struggle these past few months.   They are together now. Miss you.

Don was a great person to talk to and will be greatly missed. I had the pleasure of working with him during his years at McGuire. He had some really great stories to tell.

Don was my Uncle.  He was a very kind man.  He moved mobile homes and when I was a young child he brought my brothers and sister and I a toy mobile home and truck we all played many hours with that.  
I also remember him when you would call or stop to see him saying Howdie howdie or how do
He and Aunt Gerry loved to go to the US National Whitewater Center  which was an Olympic training site.  They visited with so many people there.
I will miss Uncle Don and Aunt Gerry very much.  Rest in Peace  Love you

Don was such a sweet guy, always a joy to be around. He loved his wife Gerry so much. Glad you are both together in heaven.

I worked with Don at Duke. He was a very talented man and was well thought of by all of us. He had such a great sense of humor. Rest in Peace Don.

Aunt Gerry and Uncle Don celebrated their 50th anniversary in November 2007. Separated for nearly 3 weeks by Aunt Gerry's death now they are back together again.

Uncle Don liked vehicles and NASCAR included.  He, his brother Tom and I visited the NASCAR Hall of Fame in October 2010.  He was kind,loving and took care of Aunt Gerry.  He liked his pets.  RIP Uncle Don. Breathe easy now.

Don was my brother.  He grew up in the mountains of western PA, moved on to Florida and lived for most of his life in Belmont, NC.  Donnie could fix anything!  He worked as an auto mechanic, then a mobile home mover and lastly as a Security Guard for Duke Power.  He loved  dogs and cats, NASCAR racing, and country and gospel music.  He and wife Gerry loved living in Belmont and all the friends they made there.  My wife and I enjoyed many visits with them and trips to the beach in NC, Biltmore, Stowe Gardens, White Water Center and The Billy Graham Library.   Donnie was a much loved big brother who will be greatly missed.  Tom and Mary Ann Hudson
