She was a native of Iredell County and the daughter of the late Walter Lee and Carrie Sharpe Morrison.
She is survived by her husband of 55 years Marshall M. Lindsay; two daughters: Reatha Plummer of Belmont, Gloria DuBose of Gulf Breeze, Florida; a sister Lois M. Beaver of Cleveland; six grandchildren, eleven great grandchildren and one great great grandchild.
Mrs Lindsay was preceded in death by a brother and three sisters.
Funeral services will be 1:00 PM Saturday in the chapel of Carothers Funeral Home in Stanley with the Rev. James A. Hunt officiating. Burial will follow at Hillcrest Gardens in Mt. Holly.
The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service at Carothers Funeral Home in Stanley.
