Molly Jean Parker, 35, of Dallas, NC, passed away peacefully in the early morning of September 28, 2025, surrounded by her loved ones. To all who knew her, she was a unique and caring soul, who touched all the lives she came in contact with. Always blessing and lighting up the room with her contagious smile.
Molly was born in Charlotte, NC on November 25, 1989 to the loving Jane (Hodges) and George Parker Jr. As a child she excelled at Webb Street School and loved participating in the Special Olympics. She also enjoyed attending the special needs program at Gaston College. Molly had a passion for music, her favorite being rap. She enjoyed arts, shopping, WWE, Dale Earnhardt, attending the monthly dance where she saw her friends from school, and most importantly, spending time with her family.
Molly was preceded in death by her parents Jane and George Parker Jr; aunt, Patricia Hodges; aunt, Elizabeth Crow; aunt, Amy Desormeaux; aunt, Sally Hartis.
She is survived by her half brother George Parker III ; uncle Samuel Boyer of Dallas, NC; aunt, Stanette Harper of Smithfield, NC (Eliza, Leah); cousin Melanie Hudspeth of Gastonia, NC (Steven Sr., Kayla, Adalynn, Autumn, Steven Jr.); and numerous extended family and friends.
A visitation for Molly will be held Saturday, October 11, 2025 from 1:30 pm to 2:30 pm at Carothers Funeral Home, 412 South Main Street, Stanley, NC 28164 with the Celebration of Life Service beginning at 2:30 pm.
The family requests that memorial contributions be made to Webb Street School.
