Randy McCain

Born April 18th, 1950, in Greenville, SC. His parents moved to California when he was a teenager, and he made his way to North Carolina in 1984. He had careers as a paramedic, tool & dye maker, rancher, and the final one he loves so deeply a truck driver. He loved riding his Harley with his wife and friends, enjoyed NASCAR, fishin with his best bud, and his giant Jethro size bowl of chocolate ice cream. He loved his fur babies Nicky, Jaden, Nell & Sage and he was the very best Papa. Randy left this world surrounded by loved ones on the morning of October 15, 2025.

Preceding him in death are his Parents David & Bobbie McCain. Brothers Eddie, Jerry, & Charlie. Leaving behind his wife Christy “Chris” McCain, Daughters Terrie Fowler, Carrie Peddy, Kim Franklin & Tracy Coffey. Stepchildren Heather Diggs, Robert “Rob” McArn, & Eric O’toole. Brother’s Mike & John. Sisters Jena & Tammie. Along with his thirteen Grandchildren and three Great Grandchildren.

There will be a celebration of life at Carothers Funeral Home in Stanley, NC on Saturday, November 8th at 2pm
