

She was born Adelaide L. Mohlenhoff, one of 12 children of Henry and Wilhelmina Mohlenhoff , owners of Mohlenhoff Nursery and Farms in Travis, now the site of the William T. Davis Wildlife Refuge.
A graduate of Port Richmond High School, she worked in the family business and as a sales clerk at Macy's in Manhattan.
During World War II, Mrs. Mullick was a volunteer at the former Halloran Hospital in Willowbrook; the largest military hospital in the U.S. at that time. The grounds are now part of the College of Staten Island campus.
After she and Bernard Mullick wed, the couple lived briefly in Travis before settling in Meiers Corners, and Mrs. Mullick dedicated herself to her family and home.
In her youth, she enjoyed attending Ladies Day at the Polo Grounds in Manhattan.
Her favorite pastime was spending time with family, especially with her grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
Mrs. Mullick also was devoted to her church, St. John’s Lutheran Church in Port Richmond. She taught Sunday school, led the youth choir and sang in the church choir.
Bernard, her husband of 62 years, died in 2012. She also was preceded in death by her son, Donald, in 2004, and her great-granddaughter, Cecilia, in 2009.
Mrs. Mullick is survived by her son, Raymond; her sister, Dorothy Mohlenhoff; four grandchildren, and eight great-grandchildren.
The funeral service will be held Saturday at 10 a.m. in St. John’s Lutheran Church. Burial will follow in Moravian Cemetery, New Dorp. Arrangements are being handled by the Casey Funeral Home, Castleton Corners.
