Adeline Lasalvia

Adeline La Salvia, 84 Lifelong Dongan Hills resident Adeline La Salvia, a life-long resident of Dongan Hills, Staten Island, N.Y., passed away on Friday, Dec. 23, 2016. She was the last surviving child of the Mazzola family and was preceded in death by her five sisters and two brothers. Adeline was also preceded in death by her husband, Frank, and her son, Patrick. She was an avid bowler who cherished the friends she made over the years at Rab's Country Lanes. She loved to travel and enjoyed trips to Atlantic City Casinos. Surviving are her son, Michael; daughter-in-law, Patricia; daughter-in-law, Maria; grandsons, Michael, Frankie, Christopher, and Thomas, and her granddaughter, Jessica. She was a great-grandmother to Maddyson, Masson, Leila, Tyler, and Michael Joseph La Salvia. The funeral is from Virginia Funeral Chapel, Dongan Hills, on Tuesday. The Funeral Mass is at 10 a.m. at St. Ann R.C. Church on Tuesday. Interment is in Moravian Cemetery. Visitation is on Monday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. at the funeral home.
