Loving father and grandfather, enjoyed travel.
Aldo T. Puletti Sr., 83, of Richmondtown, Staten Island, N.Y., passed away March 12, 2016, at his home.
He was born in Perugia, Italy, and came to the U.S. at seven years old. Mr. Puletti was a builder and constructed the first duplexes on Staten Island.
He married his wife, Rose DeGennaro, in 1961, and settled in South Beach before moving to Richmondtown 14 years ago. His wife, Rose, passed away on Feb. 29, 2016.
Mr. Puletti enjoyed traveling with his wife to many parts of Europe and places in the United States. A loving grandfather, he enjoyed spending time with his grandchildren, Natalie, Nicole, and Eric Puletti Jr.
Mr. Puletti served in the U.S. Army during the Korean War.
He is survived by his two sons, Aldo Jr. and Eric.
Services will be held on Tuesday at Casey McCallum-Rice, 30 Nelson Ave. from 3:30 to 8:30 p.m., with a 9:45 a.m. Mass on Wednesday at St. Clare's Church, Great Kills. Burial will be at St. Peter's Cemetery.
