She worked at Leviton Mfg Co and Ideal Precision Company for many years before working for Astoria General Hospital as a Nursing Assistant. Those were some of her happiest years as she enjoyed taking care of patients. Doctors and nurses alike appreciated all of her hard work.
Ana found most happiness in taking care of her children and later on her grandchildren She loved spending time with them and they loved spending time with her. She made every holiday special for her grandchildren, often dressing up on Halloween and making them perfect Easter baskets. She enjoyed Christmas the most, as nothing made her happier than seeing their excitement on Christmas Day.
She was always present at her grandchildren's graduations, school events and sporting events. She was their #1 fan.
Ana will be remembered as a loving, selfless woman who always had a smile on her face and a kind word for everyone. A devout Catholic, her faith comforted her through her most difficult times.
Due to recent circumstances, a private viewing and burial took place on April 24, 2020. A memorial mass and celebration of life will take place at a future date.
