Mr. Accardo you taught me how to drive. I will always remember the fun we had cruising around Staten Island. You were a good man that always had a sense of humor. For a short man, you could bring the biggest man down with that stare. God Bless you and your family. St. Peters don't make them like they used to.

I can remember well looking up to Matty's big brother Tony. His infectious smile, sense of good humor and good natured picking on us younger guys. He had a aura of kindness and joviality that filled the room when he walked in.

God bless you Tony.

After 40 years I still smile when I remember Mr. Accardo's history classes. He understood that teaching is 50% entertaining and he brought even the driest subject to life. I looked forward to his never ending stories. But his genuine caring and compassion touched everyone who knew him. I count myself as blessed to have been taught by him so many years ago.

Tony was not only a great teacher, but to know him later as a colleague and friend was an honor and a privilege. He will be missed; but more importantly, forever loved and remembered.

Thank You. You taught us all a lot about life that wasn't in the textbooks. Rest In Peace. (St. Peter's Class of 1999)

Dear Mrs. Accardo, Danny, Tommy, Anthony and your families... our prayers and thoughts are with you. He was a wonderful man who was always so good to us. Made plenty of great memories to cherish.

Rest in peace Mr. Accardo and thank you. I know you will look over your family forever. You will be always in their hearts as in ours.

May your family be comforted during this time. You will always be remembered as a great teacher and mentor to many of us at St. Peter's. I can still remember the fun over 44 years ago now. God bless you and keep you with him.

God bless you Mr. Accardo. You were a great mentor and friend. I'll always remember our acting together in 'God's Favorite'. You were always such a funny guy. The world was a better place with you in it.
