Wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother.
Arline (Goldstein) Peters was born in Brooklyn on November 11, 1927. She graduated from Abraham Lincoln High School, and later worked there as a paraprofessional. She also worked in the Empire State Building during World War II. She married her childhood sweetheart, Daniel Peters, and after they retired moved to Florida, where she was active in sports and games. After Danny's death she moved to Staten Island to be closer to her children.
She was smart, caring, and loved her cats. She loved socializing, even though in her later years she pretended she didn't. She was so grateful to be near her family, and would light up whenever she got a visit at her assisted living home. She was thankful for the staff that cared for her daily, and continued to have chutzpah despite being in her 90's.
She is survived by her two loving children, Stevan and Susan, her daughter-in-law Merylee Peters, grandchildren Phillip Peters, Zabrina Stokes, and John Price, their spouses Jennifer Peters, Evan Stokes, and Pia Price, and her great grandchildren Derek Stokes, Melinda Peters, Ben Peters, Jonah Aguilar, and Sara Aguilar.
Because of the COVID-19 pandemic, there will be no formal service at this time. A memorial will be planned for the future.
