Beloved wife, mother, and grandmother

Barbara DiCostanzo, 75, of Meiers Corners, Staten Island, N.Y., entered into eternal peace on March 5, 2016.

Family and friends will be received Wednesday and Thursday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. at Harmon Funeral Home, 571 Forest Ave., Staten Island, N.Y. A Funeral Mass will take place Friday, March 11, at 11 a.m. at St. Stanislaus Kostka Church, 109 York Ave., S.I. Interment will follow at Moravian Cemetery, S.I.

Born March 3, 1941, in Staten Island, N.Y., Barbara was the daughter of Sebastian and Wanda Montuori and sister of Joan Nardiello and Judith Petosa.

She was the loving wife of Louis DiCostanzo for over 50 years, and loving mother to Robert and Richard DiCostanzo and daughters-in-law, Elizabeth and Jennifer DiCostanzo.

Barbara enjoyed the Christmas holidays, cooking, baking and especially spending time with her beloved grandchildren, Christopher, Olivia, Ryan, and Alexandra. She was also adored by many nieces, nephews, extended family members and friends.

Barbara graduated from Curtis High School in 1959. She was a dedicated homemaker and mother who then went to work for AIG as a payroll specialist in New York City. She retired in 2001 to spend time with her four grandchildren.

She will be sadly missed but never forgotten.
