

Beatrice was a lifelong resident of Staten Island and was raised in Westerleigh. She was the youngest daughter of the late Elizabeth and Frederick Morio. After graduating from Port Richmond High School in 1952, she worked in Manhattan for several companies, including Chemical Bank, Western Electric and Dun & Bradstreet. She returned to school and received a degree in nursing from the College of Staten Island in 1979. As an RN she worked for over 25 years in a variety of healthcare facilities, including Doctors Hospital on Targee St, Eger Nursing Home and Silver Lake Nursing Home.
Beatrice was a past member of the Nansen Lodge, Sons of Norway in Travis, and was a past director of the Junior Lodge and involved in the Nansen Soccer League.
She enjoyed dancing, cooking, hosting family gatherings, interior design and decorating. She was a fan of the New York Yankees and the New York Giants. She enjoyed traveling when she was young. Beatrice was a parishoner of Holy Family Roman Catholic Church for over 45 years.
Beatrice is survived by her brother, Donald Morio, 4 nieces and 2 nephews. She was predeceased by two sisters, Ruth Walters and Sarah Molyneaux, and two brothers, Frederick Morio Jr. and George Morio, as well as sisters-in-law Evelyn Morio and Margaret Morio, brother-in-law Kenneth Walters, and nephew Frederick Glenn Morio.
