The Vizsla Club of Greater New York mourns the loss of our longtime member, mentor,and friend. Thank you, Bud, for your many years of devotion and dedication to the Vizsla breed.  God speed you on your journey to be reunited with Diane.  Our thoughts and prayers are with Ryan and your brothers.

Rest in Peace - Dr. Bud, Bill and I send our condolences to your family and especially Ryan.  Many fond memories of our times together at Westchester and Westminster.  You will be missed.

Andy and I have wonderful memories of Bud, painting the T3 office at Lehman, wonderful dinners by candlelight at Todt Hill, the Lehman College Department of Nursing Men's Auxiliary, attending a dog show where Bud was officiating.  Our sympathy goes out to Ryan and the family.  Mathy and Andy Mezey

I only met Dr. McGivern a handful of times.  But I know he was a good man, and his wife,Diane(May they rest in peace) was a special light too.  The living proof is their beautiful, strong, creative, decent, kind, funny & loving daughter.  All my sympathy and love to you Ryan.

A wonderful dog man. I will always have fond memories of him.

Rest in Peace Dr. McGivern.. A wonderful Doctor and a true gentleman who I will forever be grateful to. Thank you for the most wonderful patient care I could have ever hoped for; and for putting my face back together after a horrific accident in September of 1970- you were the best at what you did. No one will ever come close to your talent or your kindness, your compassion and the genuine care and concern you had for your patients.  You were one in a million and I will never forget you.

Bud was a gracious person who will always be remembered for the years of dedication he gave to the dog show world and the Vizsla breed. In addition, his humanitarian deeds include contributing his medical expertise to support victim identification in the aftermath of 9/11, and the emotional impact this had on him says a lot about who he was. Farewell to a fine friend, and deepest sympathy to his daughter Ryan.

Blessed  be the soul who leaves this world so accomplished,  a friend to so many and truly loved.,  you will be missed!

I was saddened by the news today of Bud's passing but I know he is now at rest.  He had a wonderful sense of humor and he so loved (and was loved) by Diane.

My heart goes out to you, Ryan.  You had the very best parents who loved you dearly.  May you find laughter and great memories to carry you beyond your sadness.
