Bernice Cope born 1926 in Louisiana. Worked in a defense plant during World War II She worked for St. Peter's Church for many years as a housekeeper and cook until she retired. Her husband James Cope died in 1986, Her sons James Cope and Gary Cope are also deceased. Survived by three son's Thomas Effimoff, Gregory Cope and Russell Cope (daughter in law Donna) and a daughter Karen Ventre and dear son in law John Ventre. 10 Grandchildren, 12 Great Grandchildren and 3 Great Great Grandchildren Bernice was very proud of her Native American heritage. Bernice loved going to the Poconos and loved doing her Word Search.
