Born Betty Van Valen, she grew up in New Brighton and moved to Rosebank in 1994.
She attended McKee High School.
She worked as a typist and clerk at Commercial Union Institute Co. She also worked as a clerk for Motor Vehicle Accident Indemnification Corp., retiring in 1994.
In addition to walking, she enjoyed visiting friends and relatives, including numerous nieces and nephews.
Her family said Ms. Davies was active in Park Baptist Church, Port Richmond, and Immanuel Lutheran Church, Bulls Head.
Her husband, Llewellyn Davies, died more than 25 years ago.
Ms. Davies is survived by her sister, Dolores Shand.
Burial is Monday in St. Peter's Cemetery, West Brighton. Virginia Funeral Chapel is handling arrangements.
