Brian Warner Jan. 5, 1971 - June 6, 2018 Brian John Warner, a native Staten Islander who grew up in Great Kills, passed away at his home in Dongan Hills. Brian earned a BS in biology from Brooklyn College and a master's degree in biology from Hunter College. He worked as a licensed laboratory scientist at New York Presbyterian Hospital in lower Manhattan. Brian was an avid fisherman, camper and outdoorsman. He loved spending time with his family and had a lifelong commitment to biology and the medical sciences. He used his talents and training to help others. Brian is survived by his father, John Warner; his brother, Kenneth Warner; his aunt, Jill Warner, and his nephews, Brendan and Douglas Warner. A Funeral Mass will be held on Monday, June 11, at 10:30 a.m., at Saint Clare's Chapel (white building), 110 Nelson Ave., Great Kills. Burial will follow at Resurrection Cemetery, Staten Island. In lieu of flowers, contributions in memory of Brian Warner can be made to Danny's Promise, c/o the Jawonio Foundation, 260 Little Tor Rd., New City, N.Y. 10956.
