Carmen Uranga, 103, of Castleton Corners, died peacefully in her home on Nov. 13, 2016, surrounded by her family. Carmen loved being with her family and friends and preparing meals for them. Born in Spain, she immigrated to the U.S. when she was four years old, attended school in Elizabeth, N.J., and years later married Antonio Uranga, also a Spanish immigrant. She is survived by daughters, Lucille "LuLu" Locke and Geraldine Beyfuss; sister, Julia Andia; grandsons, Marty Locke, Andrew Beyfuss, Michael Beyfuss; and great-grandchildren, Michelle, Samantha, Danielle, and Antonio Locke, and Victoria, Alexsandra and Kristina Beyfuss. Visitation is Monday at Casey Funeral Home from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Mass is Tuesday at 10:45 a.m. at St. Teresa's Church. In lieu of flowers, please make donations to hospice.
