Casie Ann Mclean

Born in Rosebank, Ms. McLean and her family moved to West Brighton in 2002, and in 2006, moved back to Rosebank.

Ms. McLean was a graduate of St. Peter's Girls High School, Class of 2000. After attending an upstate New York university for a time, she decided to become an electrician. She had worked as an electrician with the IBEW Local 3 for the past six years.

While growing up, she loved to play softball. She played for the East Shore Little League, several travel leagues and, for a brief time, for her high school team.

Ms. McLean's family said she enjoyed spending time and laughing with her friends and family.

"She was a big people person, everyone loved her," said her sister, Britney McLean. "She always loved being around friends and family."

In addition to her sister, surviving are her father, George McLean; her mother, Lori McLean; another sister, Lisa, and a brother, George.

The funeral will be Friday from Casey Funeral Home, Castleton Corners, with a service at 9:30 a.m. at Holy Rosary Church, South Beach. The burial will be in Royal Palm Memorial Gardens, Punta Gorda, Fla.
