Born in Stapleton, she moved to Dongan Hills in 1960 and graduated from New Dorp High School.
She was a secretary for the city Department of Administration Services, Investigation Unit in Manhattan from 1980 until 2010.
A parishioner of St. Ann’s R.C. Church, Dongan Hills, she enjoyed solving crossword puzzles.
She is survived by her mother, Mary Elizabeth Padovano, and a brother, Joseph.
The funeral will be Tuesday from the Virginia Funeral Chapel, Dongan Hills, with a mass at 10 a.m. in St. Ann’s Church. Burial will follow in Moravian Cemetery, New Dorp.
