

Longtime Bay Terrace resident Catherine (Tine) Petrucci, 82, a retired teletype operator and homemaker who loved the holidays, died Thursday in Memorial Sloan-Kettering Cancer Center, Manhattan, after a short illness.
Mrs. Petrucci was born and raised in Brooklyn. She moved to Bay Terrace in 1968.
She graduated from the former Straubenmuller Textile High School in Brooklyn.
Primarily a homemaker, after her children were grown, she worked for more than 20 years as a teletype operator at Paine Webber on the New York Stock Exchange in Manhattan. She retired in 1997.
In her leisure time, she enjoyed crocheting, playing mah jongg and trips to Atlantic City. She also enjoyed decorating at Christmas.
Mrs. Petrucci loved to spend time with her family.
She was a parishioner of St. Clare's R.C. Church, Great Kills.
She is survived by her husband of 54 years, Pat; her son, Joseph; her daughter, Camille Petrucci Brennan; her sister, Dorothy Belluscio, and four grandchildren.
The funeral will be Monday from the Casey McCallum Rice South Shore Funeral Home, Great Kills, with a mass at 11 a.m. in St. Clare's Church. Burial will follow in Resurrection Cemetery, Pleasant Plains.
