Charlene Skonieczny

Charlene was married to her husband, Walter, for 67 years. They had four children - Shellie(spouse Ben), Sharlene (Thomas), Stephen (Agatha), and Scott (Victoria). She had ten grandchildren - Gaetan, Daniel and Michael Panerello, Kyle Clark, Steven Skonieczny, Samantha, Scott Jr, Jack, Charley Anne, and Ryley Anne Skoniecny. She had seven great-granchildren - Michael, Aiden, Gaetan, Dominick, Matthew, Skylar, and Maxwell Panarello.

She was an active member of the Beta Sigma Phi Chapter - Kappa Master for most of her adult life. She had been a member of the Richmondtown Historical Society and Coast Guard Auxiliary.

She graduated from Staten Island Community College and attended Wagner College.

She traveled the world with her husband visiting 43 different countries.

She enjoyed going to the movies and eating out. She knit baby clothes for all her grandchildren and great-grandchildren and made hand stitched quilts.

She loved animals, having had many dogs and several cats over the years. She was also an avid gardener.

She lived a very full life which most people nowadays would be hard pressed to do.
