

Charlie was born to the late Eleanor Dente and Michael Chicolo in New Brighton, Staten Island on June 27, 1928.
In April, 1958 Charlie married his beautiful wife Concetta and was blessed with two children.
Charles retired from the New York Housing Authority, and he also served in the U.S. Army. Charles was also a member of the Granito Smith Post 1296
Everyone who knew Charlie, knows he was a kind, sweet, generous, and strong man. He made an impact on everyone he met. He played football for Curtis High School and his favorite sport teams were the New York Jets, and the New York Mets.
Charlie had a passion for gardening, and loved helping everyone with their landscaping. Charlie was an avid bowler who enjoyed Friday night bowling and pizza at DeNino’s with the boys.
Charlie had lifelong friends “known as the crowd”. He spent many holidays and special times with the crowd making wonderful memories.
Charlie is survived by his wife Concetta Chicolo (nee Baldassarre), his sister Sarah DeVincenzi (nee Chicolo), his son Michael (Michele), daughter Theresa. Grandchildren Christine Gordon (Terry Norman), Larry Gordon, Michael Chicolo, Victoria Chicolo and great grandchildren Antonio and Ariyana Norman.
