Constance Retzlaff

Connie was born in Brooklyn, New York in 1925 and as a young girl, moved to Staten Island where she remained as a resident.

Connie was predeceased by her husband Frank A. Retzlaff, in 1989.

She is survived by her three children; Linda Nilsen and son-in-law Bruce Nilsen, Nancy Retzlaff and longtime partner Michael Minenna, Robert Retzlaff and daughter-in-law Sherry Retzlaff and her beloved grandson Frank J. Retzlaff.

During her long life Connie belonged to Zion Lutheran Church. Her bible study group partook in many church activities. Upon graduating from Franklin K. Lane High School in Brooklyn, New York, Connie attended secretarial school. She worked as a secretary in New York City.

Later into her career Connie acquired her realtors license and worked at Century 21 Stat-Land in the 1980's. She enjoyed the family pets, gardening, and baking! She especially loved spending time with family and friends.

A visiting for Constance will be held Thursday, March 30, 2023 from 3:00 PM to 7:00 PM at Harmon Funeral Home, 571 Forest Ave, Staten Island, NY 10310.
