Born on August 31, 1946, in Staten Island, Darleene dedicated many years of service to the Board of Education. She was known for her warm spirit, her love of shopping, and the joy she found in spending time with her grandchildren and her friends.
Darleene is survived by her son, Robert; her daughter, Dayna-Rae; her daughters-in-law, Joanne and Hannah; her son-in-law, Niko; and her five beloved grandchildren. She was predeceased by her beloved husband, James, and her son, Michael.
Visitation will be held at Harmon Funeral Home, 571 Forest Ave., Staten Island, NY 10310 on November 20, 2025, from 2:00–4:00 PM and 7:00–9:00 PM.
A Mass of Christian Burial will take place at St. Teresa of the Infant Jesus Roman Catholic Church, 1634 Victory Blvd., Staten Island, NY 10314 on November 21, 2025, from 11:15 AM to 12:15 PM.
