Diane Andersen

Diane Galasso Andersen passed away on January 29th, 2021 after a courageous battle with cancer. She was the daughter of Alfred and Antoinette Galasso and was born at St Vincent's Hospital in 1950 in New York City. The family moved to Staten Island New York where she attended New Dorp High School. Diane earned a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Liberal Arts (Fine Arts/Photography) from Kean University in Union, New Jersey. She also completed Business Administration Classes at Pace University in New York. Diane worked in the insurance industry as an Administrative Assistant for Allstate Insurance on Staten Island and then as an Executive Assistant with AIG. Her last job was with Guardian Life Insurance as an Executive Assistant. Diane's real love was photography and she took many beautiful travel photos as well as photos of rock bands in the New York area. She is survived by her brother Al who lives in Oregon, many cousins and dear friends. There will be a memorial celebrating her life in August 2021.
