Born in Petrina, Greece, he lived in Brooklyn before settling in New Springville in the 1980s. He moved to Tarpon Springs in 2007.
Mr. Angelakos was a real estate investor. He enjoyed playing music, spending time with his son and dining out.
Surviving are his wife of 27 years, the former Angela Koutrokois; a son, Leo; and one sister, Kleanthi.
The funeral will be Tuesday from the Casey Funeral Home, Castleton Corners, with a service at 10 a.m. in Holy Trinity-St. Nicholas Greek Orthodox Church, Bulls Head. Burial will follow in Ocean View Cemetery, Oakwood.
