

Born on June 8, 1931, on Staten Island, New York, Dolores was the daughter of the late John and Helen Czapalski. A lifelong Staten Island resident, she graduated from Curtis High School in 1948, where she was honored with the Girls’ Athletic Award for her outstanding participation in sports.
Following graduation, Dolores began her career as a bank teller in New York City. She later worked as an administrative assistant at the College of Staten Island and St. John’s University, where she was known for her dedication and professionalism.
On May 27, 1962, Dolores married the love of her life, John McEnearney. Together they built a loving family and shared many happy years of marriage.
Dolores enjoyed watching sports and was an enthusiastic fan throughout her life. She loved spending time at the beach, enjoying a hot cup of tea or coffee, and taking memorable road trips to Bar Harbor, Maine. In retirement, she found great joy in reading and treasured the time she spent caring for and babysitting her grandchildren, who were among the greatest blessings of her life. Dolores was predeceased by her parents, John and Helen Czapalski; her beloved husband, John McEnearney; and her daughter, Patricia Tritini.
She is survived by her family: her daughters Diane (Jack) Esposito, Deborah (Joe) Sanchez; her eleven cherished grandchildren, Joseph, James, Jacqueline, Lauren, Elena, Justin, Joshua, Samantha, Jeremy, Matthew, and Thomas; and her two beloved great-grandchildren, Cameron and Eleanor. She also leaves behind many extended family members and friends who will miss her dearly.
Dolores will be remembered for her warmth, devotion to her family, quiet strength, and the love she shared with all who knew her. Her legacy lives on in the generations she helped nurture and in the countless memories she leaves behind.
