She loved to dance
Dolores (Fix) Miller passed away suddenly at her home in Naples, Fla., on Feb. 23, 2020.
She was predeceased by her husband, Thomas William Miller. In 1969, they moved from Brooklyn to Mariners Harbor, S.I. They had six children jointly and many laughs and excitement! They built their new home at Amity Place to their liking. Dolores had many design ideas and always had a project for her husband, the carpenter.
After Thomas passed away suddenly in March 1987, Dolores missed him greatly everyday. She worked at Good Humor and then was a stay at home Mom. She loved to travel the world and vacation with family and friends.
She was mother to Daniel Fix and his wife, Madeline, the late Betty Walstrom, Ronald Fix and his wife, Mary Ann, the late Cindy Miller, Tammy DeFilipo and her husband, Bill, and the late Thomas Miller. Dolores loved visiting with her 15 grandchildren, and 12 great grandchildren.
Dolores was the oldest of three daughters of the late Martha Mills. Her sisters, Carol Agoglia (deceased) and Elizabeth (Betty) Price were usually good for a laugh or two when together. Dolores was Godmother to Linda Tambasco, and loving aunt to 10 nieces and nephews, and great aunt to 14.
Her original views sometimes will be missed and her unique gifts will no longer be a "SCORE" for us !
Rest in Peace.
