Born on Staten Island to parents Donald J. McCarthy Sr. and Marguerite M. McCarthy .
Donald attended P.S.22 , I.S.51 ,a graduate of Ralph R. McKee class of 1992, and proudly attended The Richard H. Hungerford School.
Donald was an avid reader and enjoyed writing, particularly poetry which led to writing and have some of his own work published. He participated and excelled in sports at West Shore Little League and The Special Olympics, a testament to his unwavering ability to surpass his disabilities.
Donald loved and adored his family and friends, leaving behind a passion for life he unknowingly touched everyone with.
He is predeceased by his parents. Surviving brothers: Edward, Terence, Thomas, James and many nephews and nieces and cousins.
