

The West Brighton native was born Dorothy Anne Tuite. She had lived in Castleton Corners since 1967.
A graduate of St. Peter's Girls High
School, she worked as a secretary at International Nickel Company and Foster Wheeler.
She enjoyed bus trips to Atlantic City with members of St. Rita's R.C. Church in Meiers Corners, where she was a parishioner.
She also enjoyed travel.
A doting grandmother, she loved spending time with her family, whom she treasured.
She was very proud of her nephew, Rep. Dan Donovan, and looked forward to his weekly visits every Sunday. She appreciated all his efforts to support her.
She was preceded in death by her husband of 31 years, Philip, and by her daughter, Susan Hamilton, both in 1998.
She is survived by her sons, Timothy, Thomas and Phil; her daughter, Catherine Burke; her brother, Raymond Tuite; her sisters, Kathy Donovan and Mary Polumbo; 13 grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.
A memorial Mass is planned for Monday at 11 a.m. in St. Rita's Church. Burial of ashes will be Thursday in St. Peter's Cemetery, West Brighton. Arrangements were handled by the Casey Funeral Home, Castleton Corners.
